Adult ESL

Leander ISD partners with Community Action, Inc.’s (CAI) Adult Education Program to provide High School Equivalency (HSE) preparation in both English and Spanish, and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at the Bagdad Learning Center (portables behind Bagdad Elementary.)

We provide services to adults with limited mastery of basic educational skills; adults who do not have a secondary school diploma; or who are unable to speak, read or write the English language.

While Bagdad Learning Center's classes are in the evening, CAI offers other day and evening class options in Cedar Park and Leander areas.  Computer literacy is integrated in the instruction as well.

We also offer online services, which make learning easier than ever, as they allow learners to access adult education with what’s already in their pockets: a cell phone.
