Off-campus PE

Off Campus Physical Education (OCPE)
In accordance with local district policy, a school district may award up to four high school credits for physical education for appropriate private or commercially-sponsored physical activity programs conducted on or off campus. The district must apply to the commissioner of education for approval of such programs, which may be substituted for state graduation credit in physical education.

Texas Law requires middle school students must participate in a minimum two years of physical activity. This activity may be physical education class, athletics, cheer, dance, drill team, or color guard.  In LISD, students in grades 6-12 may apply for Off Campus PE.

Student Application
The student application should be completed and turned into the campus guidance counselor for approval. ***6th grade OCPE applications for Spring 2018 are due by Friday, October 20th at 4:00pm in the Campus Guidance Counselor's office. 

Approved Agencies & Instructors
These agencies are approved to provide OCPE to LISD students. Students must still submit a completed application. 

Agency Application
This form must be completed with required documentation if your agency is not on the list. Instructors must submit or provide a cleared background check every year. Agency Applications can be sent to Kimberly.Davies@Leanderisd.org 

Attendance and Pass/Fail Form
This form should be filled out and submitted to the Campus Guidance Counselor by the Agency Instructor to report attendance and pass/fail for each six weeks.
